P-Low was founded in 2007 and is situated Québec, Canada, to the spectacular Charlevoix region.
I grew up in Belgium, where I got into action sports at a young age. At six years old, I started waterskiing, skateboarding, alpine skiing and got my first BMX bike. Our garden transformed into a BMX track and I built my own little skate park in the backyard. It was when I discovered snowboarding and wakeboarding that I had to set up a trampoline next to our swimming pool.
In 2000, I moved to Innsbruck, Austria to live out my dream of going snowboarding and mountain biking as much as possible. After a couple of injuries while trying new tricks on my board and on my bike, it was time to come up with a solution. We needed some kind of feature to try new tricks without the risk of getting hurt.
In 2007, I founded a company specializing in airbags. Together with my business partner, we developed an airbag strong enough to suit extreme sports training. This massive pillow allowed us to always land safely, in any position. Big improvement!
It was an instant hit and we quickly became leaders in the market. The proof being that Olympic teams and professional athletes were now choosing to train with our product. Dozens of ski resorts, mountain bike parks and adventure parks have purchased our airbags. I am very proud to have taken part in developing the first extreme sports airbag.
To begin the next chapter in this great adventure, my wife and I moved to Canada, to settle down at beautiful Mont-Sainte-Anne in the province of Quebec.
Along with my new company P-Low airbags, I’m using my expertise to keep doing what I love: improving this fantastic product and helping others by doing so!
